In 2009, Sports Illustrated estimated that 78% of NFL players are either bankrupt or in financial distress within two years of retirement.

That's why the NFLPA approached us with an assignment: encourage young NFL rookies to start planning for their financial future earlier using its custom personal finance platform called the Pocket Playbook (ed. note: we didn't come up with the name).

To get the attention of these newly wealthy and absurdly athletic twentysomethings, we enlisted the help of former NFL defensive tackle turned actor, TV personality, and social media influencer Anthony "Spice" Adams to share his tips on how you can live large responsibly.
